HELP! Offloading data from ssd to computer

Hey guys! So I finally got the Mavo LF! Its sweet, but I cant offload footage from my Samsung 860 Evo to my pc. I have the StarTech usb 3.0 to SATA ssd adapter. It connects to my pc but doesnt have a letter or drive path. But when I give it a drive path (letter) It makes me delete everything. Now the computer reads it, but all my files are gone, but when I put it in the Mavo I have to rebuild the ssd again to use it but that causes the drive path to go away. Thus creating an endless cycle. I have no idea how to solve this. If you guys can share how you guys offload footage from your third-party ssd’s that would be amazing!!!! Thank you!

Luke, first of all congrats on your new Mavo LF! Secondly, there is nothing special about using 3rd party SSDs, they work, operate, and most of the times perform as the KineMAG+. Your PC should be able to read it normally if you formatted it using your Mavo LF. As I own a Mac, I’ll be unable to even try duplicate your issue but honestly I haven’t heard of this particular issue before. Did you get a KineMAG+ with your camera and try if it works just to rule out the camera? In the meantime I’ll keep researching this and see if we can help you. Cheers!

I figured it out haha. I just needed to format the drive to NTFS. I freaked out to early hahaXD. Thanks for the response Gualbert!
