Cine lenses should work fine since the iris is controlled manually, not electronically. πŸ™‚

    Hi,

can anybody confirm, that IRIS control on Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art works or not? This would be a welcome addition for longer shots, but cannot find a shop in local vicinity to try out. Thanks for any input!

    Hi Karlosak –

An earlier reply mentioned that the Sigma ART 50/1.4 doesn’t work (no iris control) with the KineMINI 4K. Sadly, I can confirm that it also doesn’t work on my KineMAX 6K. However, the Sigma ART 35/1.4 DOES work on my KineMAX 6K, as it should on the KineMINI 4K (per the same earlier reply on this thread). I emailed Kine Team about this back in October. They replied that they would reach out to Sigma. So far they haven’t followed up.

    Cheers,

    Nico
