Re: Loading in Custom LUTs

Hey Derek, Do you have the most recent Firmware update KineOS 4.0? that is where they brought back the custom LUT capability that they took out for a while on previous firmwares. Also I had a problem updating my firmware a while back due to the wrong kind of USB thumb drive (I guess it was too big) ...

Re: Sync Audio Files FIX?

Which firmware are you using? The out of sync issue is an older problem that seemed to have been fixed with a firmware update months ago... Regarding your project FPS problem... make sure that you set "project FPS" in the menu to 23.976, which will set any frame rate to play back in your NLE as the ...

So if you shoot KRW it seems that the Metadata does not transfer over to the DNG, so w...

Re: Avid Editor figuring out workflows before buying Kinemin

Here's a thought if you haven't seen the practicality behind Cineform(which there is unfortunately not a lot of info out there about it) Whether or not you are using Avid, FinalCut or Premiere(or any other NLE for that matter) CIneform is what Kinefinity chose for the simple reason of Active Metadat...

Re: Turn on KineMini 4K

I would suggest that you contact the Kinefinity team and troubleshoot with them.
I hear that they are not always the easiest to get a hold of but it should work if you keep knocking.

Re: Turn on KineMini 4K

If you are running off of battery grip then you may find that it can be fidgety. I had some issues with my battery grip and the camera not recognizing it or something... I can not explain the DC power cable not working with the camera though. But again, if it is the battery grip then you should try ...

Re: Rolling Shutter in 4K

I heard others say that they had some pretty bad rolling shutter in 4K, and they had apperently found that 2K had more pleasing results regarding the jello. I personally try to avoid shaky shots and rarely go handheld/documentary style. If your doing a fast whip pan, you should probably try the spor...
