Re: KineOS / KineStation: Feature Requests/Suggestions
A better menu structure would be appreciated. There is so much screen real estate lost and we have to drill in to menus to view our setting. A Canon / Sony like tab menu would give you the possibility to view stuff quicker. Also a custom menu would be very nice. Just copy what MagicLantern guys have...

Re: KineOS / KineStation: Feature Requests/Suggestions
I would love it if we zoom out in playback mode so that we can see multiple clips at a time. Also better playback options for viewing recorded clips would be awesome the ability to skip back and forth 5sek. and 10sek at a time.

Re: List of compatible EF lenses
I am totally in the same boat. There are far too many great lenses that do not work. For the record: Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM - NO IRIS CONTROL Sigma DC 17-50 1:2.8 EX HSM - NO IRIS CONTROL Canon EF 85mm 1.8 USM - IRIS CONTROL WORKS - max aperture (f2) Canon EF 50mm 1.8 USM II - IRIS CONTROL WORKS ...

Re: List of compatible EF lenses
Hi, I also have that lens and aperture control works. However VC = IS does not. I believe that all IS / VC will not work with the current firmware as there probably no signal from the camera to initiate the VC/IS in the lens. In Canon cameras (DSLR) the VC/IS will be initiated at focus/metering requ...

Re: Batteries for side grip
Do you have any idea how long a 130Wh battery will give. I read something like 8hours on Kinefinity.com. I am a bit sceptical more like 5-6 would be possible?

Re: Batteries for side grip
Hey buddy, Really loving it that you talk about the batteries. I am really in a dilemma of how to run power on this bad boy. I still haven't got the actual camera but I am getting prepared. I find that I might not need a V-lock system in the beginning. So what you are saying is that if use good 1865...

Re: Kinemini Codec test
Yeah 4K Cineform would be great. But as it is software encoding I don't think the processor can keep up. The KineMax should be able to handle it either by heftier processor or more cooling and over clocking.
