Hi,

I also have that lens and aperture control works. However VC = IS does not. I believe that all IS / VC will not work with the current firmware as there probably no signal from the camera to initiate the VC/IS in the lens. In Canon cameras (DSLR) the VC/IS will be initiated at focus/metering request (that is when you press the shutter button) I believe this signal is mission from the Kine. This is a know issue and nothing to wine about. As far as I know that is quite high on Kinefinity's priority list.

For the record:
Tamron SP 24-70mm f/2.8 DI VC USD - IRIS CONTROL WORKS, STABILISATION DOES NOT
Kinemini 4K, Canon 5D4, Canon C100MKII

Yes I know the aperture works I never said it doesn't. Just sharing my thoughts on VC as I haven't seen it in the list.
I'm happy to hear they are looking into it and I hope they will be able to sort it out.
However I would still like to understand how come so many great lenses is not compatible.

I am totally in the same boat. There are far too many great lenses that do not work.

For the record:
Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM - NO IRIS CONTROL
Sigma DC 17-50 1:2.8 EX HSM - NO IRIS CONTROL
Canon EF 85mm 1.8 USM - IRIS CONTROL WORKS - max aperture (f2)
Canon EF 50mm 1.8 USM II - IRIS CONTROL WORKS - max aperture (f2)
Kinemini 4K, Canon 5D4, Canon C100MKII

Has anyone tried any of the Rokinon Cinema Primes with the 4K?

The Cine lenses have manual aperture so they should work just fine :)

Cine lenses should work fine since the iris is controlled manually, not electronically. :)
