First part of a Kinemini camera tests I am doing for an upcoming film I am the DP for. This test was to see the dynamic range performance and grain of the camera through different ISOs. I found the color temperature shifts towards blue as the ISO is raised, and towards orange as the ISO is lowered. The highlights increased as I lowered the ISO (as expected) but it seemed to hold together well when colored. The shadows in the higher ISOs lost a lot of detail for my taste and more light would need to be brought into the shadows. The grain is comparable to that of the C100/C300/C500 and I wouldn't stay under 2000 to be safe.

Saw this posted earlier. Thanks for the test I'll be downloading it and throwing it up on a theater screen to see how it looks. Will be sure to post a picture here when I do! How are you finding working with the KineMINI?
