I’m about to pull the plug on a terra 4k package but wondering how the included monitor compares to something like a 502 or a ninja V which I already have. As I already own a smallrig shoulder rig I’m wondering if the pro kit adds any other benefit. Are people using the included case or just using there own? Buying all the items individually in the pro kit minus the handle batteries, KineMON, Movcam kit, mini mag and case is significantly cheaper. I just wonder if I’ll regret not just picking up the full deal.

Pull the plug or pull the trigger? Hope is the trigger so we can welcome you to the KineFamily! The 5″ KineMON is not very good and honestly if I knew how it performed in outdoors situations I would have got something different. That said, indoors it is pretty ok and convenient as it is integrated technology for the camera. I have it but honestly for outdoors I am heavily thinking about an SmallHD Focus 7 as I heard it is good outdoors and has a nice full screen Waveform tool. I got the middle kit and honestly the Grip with BP-U30 Battery is convenient. If you do the math by getting the kit one or two items are technically “free”. Cheers!

Lol. Yes pull the trigger. How does the kinemag perform compared to other brands like Samsung 850 pro or similar? Will I need I kinemag for some framerates/resolutions?

Good question… I am not a high “let’s see the drop of milk form the crown” speed shooter so for me they are both the same. Honestly planning on just keeping 1 KineMag and the rest of the SSD arsenal will be SanDisk and Samsung (pro versions of both).
