Mavo LF Backorder

Hi all,

So I purchased the Mavo LF directly from the Kinefinity website on June 11th. I knew it was on backorder and they said about two weeks from that date they would arrange the order. About a week ago I began talking with them again, they said they would ship my order out either by the end of last week or the beginning of this week. I just received another email this morning from Kinefinity stating that the EF mounting adapter II that was part of my order is out of stock so my ship date is now TBA. I am by no means mad, just a little curious. Main question is has anyone ordered their Mavo LF around the same window as I have and what have your experiences been with the camera being on backorder? Did you receive yours in two weeks? Or was it longer? Interested to hear everybody’s thoughts, and I’m super excited to finally get a hold of this beast!

Hi Luke!

I am very surprised KineTeam gave you such an uncharacteristic and aggressive lead time. Usually they are pretty conservative about the 4-6 weeks. Mine took 5+ weeks (a day or two shy of the 6th week) and I live in Hong Kong which is like 50 miles from their Shenzhen location. I would recommend to treat “up to 6 weeks” as normal lead time and start to worry and email them like crazy after the 6th week is gone. Hope you get your camera soon! I am sure you will enjoy it as much if not more than I’m enjoying mine. Cheers!
