I’m really interested in the answer to this question. I’ve had issues with intermittent iris control on Canon lenses before. I had two copies of the same lens (Canon 24-105 f4.0L IS) that works perfectly on other cameras. One lens worked fine on my Terra4k and the other only worked 1 times out of 10.
