I don’t see how this is a camera problem since external monitors only read the video feed being output, the camera doesn’t send any extra data about whats in focus etc. It is odd that its not working though.

Hey, Silvertonesx24, looks great!
In regards to the noise in slow-motion recording, what ISO settings did you use? In the manual the recommended ISO settings are 320 or 200 at HiSpeed mode, to get lower noise.

Kinefinity are releasing a Speedbooster called KineEnhancer. Keep an eye on info about it this week since its NAB.

From my experience with support, they have been quick to reply. The cause of their delay currently will be because they are setting up for NAB. They are only a small team, so are all probably there lol.

That is correct, Kinestation license is already included in any camera purchase. They used to sell it separately for the older cameras, but that changed with the KineMini.

SaxRix replied to the topic Manual iris solution: any idea? in the forum Kinefinity™ General 8 years, 4 months ago
Yes, for any manual lens I’d recommend dedicated VDSLR/Cine lenses as they have really nice features such as de-clicked aperture. I really like the Samyang VDSLR range.

According to the information in the DR & ISO test by Filmcyfrowy, the “!” means:
“Note that with some ISO values a “!” is displayed, which means that this is a minimum ISO value for the present Highlights settings.”

SaxRix replied to the topic Kinemini audio problem – terrible humbling noise in the forum Kinefinity™ General 8 years, 6 months ago
The Pro Audio Module is only for the KineMAX so nobody has it for the KineMINI. As for the humming, I am sure it is something to do with the preamp within the camera, similar to the Canon 60D with a Rode video mic plugged in, you get humming. So I think this might be able to be fixed with a firmware update.

Yea I believe even Kinefinity recommend only using the KineMINIs audio capabilities for a scratch track only. Which I would always do anyway.

Hi Wes, Another member contacted Kinefinity regarding this statement & they replied saying: “It will be implemented in the next version of KineStation”
So, it will come with KineStation v0.7 I assume. For the time being I will remove the bit about .KRW being able to revert back to CinemaDNG from the current details until this is properly implemented.
